Though now folded, I wrote for ArtNowNashville as a visual arts writer from October until June ; these articles are mirrored below. An online showcase dedicated to unusualy and often overlooked forms of art and discovery, Dancing Noodle Magazine celebrates the creative work of writers, photographers, artists and artisans in Middle Tennessee. I worked with the Noodle between June and November of , focusing on artist interviews.

Top Five Poems: 2012–2013

As a consistent columnist, my focus in writing leans towards artist profiles, critical analysis, and the language of paint. A nonprofit print and online publication free to the public, Number: Inc. Since Fall of , I continue to write for their print edition, submitting Regional Updates for the Nashville area as well as the occasional feature article. Though primarily working with them as an illustrator for their print magazine, I am pleased to also be tapped for coverage on the following stories. A few recent examples:. Previous editions were a resounding success. The submission period for the eighth edition was up to 15 November There are cash prizes for the best three poems. The best poems will be published in a special anthology. A selection of the best poems will be recited on the radio programme Met het Oog op Morgen.

The results will be announced on Wednesday, 1 February The donations are reserved in part for the publication of the annual anthology containing the best poems. Poems for the third edition can be entered until 15 November The three best poems will receive prize money. The results will be announced February , on the eve of the National Poetry Day. The ten best poems will receive prize money.

The Turing Foundation organizes the contest in association with the Poetry Club. Warenar by P. This is the first national poetry contest that is open to anyone over 16 and focuses, first of all, on poetry, not on the poet. The concept originated in the UK where over many years similar initiatives have helped promote the interest in poetry, well-known poets, and new talent.
